As part of the ongoing customer service provided at Biggar & Upper Clydesdale Museum we are seeking to recruit Front-of-House (FOH) Volunteers. This involves meeting and greeting visitors, providing information about the museum and services, assisting customers purchasing in our shop and supporting display and merchandising within the retail area. Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and customer guidance.
The role is very varied and one of the perks of a small museum is being able to get involved in a bit of everything. Opportunities to help with research visits, exhibitions, events, creating new quizzes and activities, museum clean up days, collections work, and much more.

  • No prior experience needed but a background in customer service is a bonus

  • An interest in the heritage sector
