About this event
The Borders Pet Rescue Dog Show is our annual fundraising event which takes place in Brambles Field, Earlston on Sunday 8th September 2024. As well as the Dog Show, we will have food and drink vendors, local craft and pet product stalls, face-painting, tombola and raffle games. The event aims to raise vital funds for Borders Pet Rescue, our animal rescue centre is based in Earlston, and we help to rescue and rehome dogs, cats, reptiles, small furries, and assist in the rehabilitation of wild hedgehogs before re-releasing them back into the wild.
Volunteering details
We are looking for volunteers to assist in a variety of roles including, setting up the Borders Pet Rescue stall and show ring on the day of the event, preparing prizes and gift bags prior to the event, helping to run the raffle and tombola games, car park stewarding duties, coordinating the dog show entries and prize giving, welcoming attendees (and their dogs!) to the event.
Any contribution big or small can make a huge difference. There are many benefits to yourself and others when you volunteer!
