SCAA Collection and Mascot at Glasgow Central Rail Station

About this event

SCAA has secured a spot to host a collection and mascot at Glasgow Central Rail Station, this takes place during a busy sporting event day. We will be present typically between 10am-6pm and accommodate shifts from as little as 2-3 hours.

We offer a SCAA fundraising t-shirt (yours to keep) and temp ID badges for the day. We also provide background info on SCAA and our life-saving crew!

We will have SCAA branded collection buckets and access to a secure fundraising app for contactless donations (if you wish to use your phone). We will also have our amazing Teddy Paramedic Mascot in attendance – if you have ever wanted to be a Mascot now is your chance! Full training is given for this role.

We always work in pairs so you'll have company amidst the crowds.

Each event will have a dedicated Event Lead which may be a staff member or current SCAA Volunteer. Their contact details will be given out in advance. The Event Lead manages the collection money so you don't have to worry at the end of your shift.

Before the event the Regional Community Fundraiser will be happy to answer any questions about the day - we always have a dedicated meeting point so you can find us.

SCAA is happy to reimburse reasonable out-of-pocket travel expenses post-event. We will explain the process during a short induction before the day.

If you are interested please register and Becca our Volunteer CoOrdinator will be in contact to schedule a short call to chat about the event and cover any queries.
