MS Amadea cruise ship visit to Fort William

About this event

We are looking for happy and smiling volunteers to welcome the passengers and crew of the cruise ship MS Amadea when she comes to Fort William on the 20th August 2024. It will involve handing out leaflets, directing passengers to the buses and answering any questions about the area and what they can do in the town whilst the ship is in port.

Volunteering details

This role is to welcome the passengers and crew of MS Amadea on her visit to Fort William on 20th August 2024. It involves issuing leaflets to each person as they come ashore, directing the passengers to the coaches if they are on a tour, directing them to the town and answering any queries folk may have about what they can do whilst they are in our wee town. The ship will be in port from 08:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs and the busy times will be when passengers leave and return from their trips and over the lunch period as well as the time of the last tender. Any time folk can give would be much appreciated to make this visit as good as possible for these marine visitors in Loch Linnhe!
