Just a few hours out of your week could make an older person's day! Help reduce loneliness and social isolation by volunteering at our community cafe. This offers older people the chance to meet others for a chat over a cup of tea or coffee and cake at a very reasonable price.

You will get to know the customers and build a positive relationship with them. You will do this by:

Meeting and greeting customers in our Tearoom

Serving refreshments and clearing away at the end

Building a positive relationship with customers by chatting to them and getting to know them.

Experience required

To be sociable, reasonably good with money and willing to get involved with the general duties of the club.

Central to bus and train services in Prestwick

Travel expenses

Travel expenses paid on receipt of tickets.
