The Carrick Centre
- VO93066
If you are training in childcare or youth work, we might have the perfect volunteering opportunity for you. At the Carrick Centre we welcome children from P1 up to P7 for different groups and activities. Every Sunday evening (6pm to 9pm) we organise an activities programme for kids from P4 to P7 (6 - 9 years). We include a variety of options, which can be sports, casts, cooking and all which can be fun for the children. We also have a holiday activity programme running on Tuesdays during the school holiday period. Activities are also constantly being held during the shorter school holidays. There is always a role to fulfill or a task that needs to be done at the Carrick Centre, and your help and support would be greatly appreciated.
Experience required
Young people following the Saltire Awards or the Duke of Edinburgh award can apply. The Carrick Centre supports all volunteers and has a no barrier approach to volunteering. All capabilities welcome, the only requirement would be the willingness to participate and support the community.
