Connecting Craigmillar

ESOL volunteer with Syrian Men's Group. Providing informal assistance in a social group setting with English learning to Arabic speakers from Syria in the Hays, Niddrie. Relaxed group of around 12 to 15 adults from a range of different backgrounds looking to improve their English language speaking though activities, socialising, conversation and walks or trips.
Experience required
Good interpersonal social skills.
Some experience or understanding of English language teaching.
Empathy and good listening skills.

Free on street parking. Buses stopping there include 2, 21, 30, 400

Community Development worker can offer mentoring support and regular supervision/support if required.
