Board Membership

Jazz Scotland promotes, supports, develops and champions jazz and related musics in Scotland. Jazz Scotland is a registered charity.

Jazz Scotland are currently inviting applications for new board members who are passionate about enabling Jazz Scotland's community of audiences, students and musicians to thrive. Although some skills and experience are of particular interest, such as education, community engagement, finance, marketing and fundraising, we are open to applications from individuals who can contribute to the future of our charity organisation and its good governance, and we are open to hearing from anyone who is interested.

The Board meets online and in-person in Scotland. Travel expenses are reimbursed.

Support
Training details

Excellent support and relevant guidance is provided to all volunteers. There will be an introduction to the workings of the Board and to the other members.

Volunteers (aged 12-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
