Furniture Plus provides affordable furniture to people in Fife through their Dysart and Dunfermline stores, supporting the community and the environment by reducing waste and encouraging reuse. They are looking for Sales Assistants to engage with customers and support the running of the charity’s retail outlet in Dunfermline.
The main tasks include:
• Prepare, price and display stock items for sale
• To serve customers on the shop floor
• To ensure the showroom is well-presented, clean and tidy at all times
• To schedule all deliveries and collections using their stock control system
• Greet and assist customers
• Operate till

Castle Industrial Centre, Queensferry Road,

Travel expenses
Travel expenses are paid at 10p per mile for walking, 24p per mile for a motorbike, 45p per mile for driving and full payment for bus tickets.
Support
Training details
They provide a full induction (Health & Safety). Each volunteer will be partnered up with a fully experienced member of staff.
