Computer Recycler / Refurbisher

ReBOOT is looking for individuals who can assist in the various stages within the recycling and refurbishment of obsolete computer equipment. In Forres opportunities for volunteers to gain new or enhance older computer skills, and contribute to the local community.
Through a clear and defined working procedure, volunteers can gain skills in the following areas: Computer Recycling, Hardware Refurbishment, Data Deletion and Destruction, Computer Diagnosis, Software Installation.

Experience required

People who have an interest in computers or technical knowledge of computers, however training will be given.

Travel details

Reboot premises in Forres, At 9 Greshop Road, Greshop Industrial Estate, Forres.
Citylink bus stop at entrance to Industrial Estate, train station, 400 yards form Industrial Estate, car parking available at the project.

Travel expenses

Travel expenses are available to volunteers who wish to claim, currently mileage at 30p per mile or local transport rate.

Training details

The induction will strat with a tour around the premises and company vehicle followed by health and safety induction and introduction to ReBOOT working procedures, they will be expected to attend first aid and manual handling course.
