Do you have a couple of hours spare to help young people in your local community? We are looking for volunteers to support the operation of the Eaglesham Scout troop (age 10 – 14) in delivering our programme of activities. We provide young people with exciting and challenging experiences and then help them use those experiences in their personal and social development. The level of your involvement is entirely up to you and could vary from helping out for a couple of hours each week at the local Scout Hall to participation in outdoor weekend events & challenges.

Leaders at the troop will be on hand to offer support & training and will provide all necessary materials for the volunteer role. We arrange your criminal record check (most of our volunteers need a PVG check), and you will be insured during your voluntee

The level of commitment is flexible, but we would look for at least a couple of hours each week.
