Role involves delivering classes on self defence this can either be on a theoretical or practical basis. The classes can sometimes be victims who are looking to protect themselves or ethnic minority groups where sensitivity and an understanding is needed. Also looking for someone to deliver fitness based classes both these classes would suit someone from a martial arts/aerobics/ fitness background or interest.
Experience required
No experience required but would prefer volunteer to come from a background in martial arts/aerobiocs/fitness with a keen interest in helping people but not necessary as training can be given.
Travel details
The Centre is on all the main bus routes ie no11, 12 and 585. It is also located close to 2 train stations within Ardrossan.
Travel expenses
Expenses could be paid in future depending on Centre funds

Training details
Volunteers could go through First Aid training, Health & Safety trainingand Fire policy training.
Taster
Come in for a chat, have a look around centre get a feel for the place
Restrictions
Minimum age: 18
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
