About the Role
• Following guidance from senior management to support the set up and running of the event
• Signposting to correct areas of the event to complete activities on offer
• Engaging with participants throughout the event
• Working alongside sport coaches and members of staff to make sure the event runs smoothly
• Ensuring Health & Safety of participants during event
Locations, Days & Times
May vary depending on programme need – will be discussed with volunteer prior to starting. Location may be across North Lanarkshire Sports Development Venues and timings vary depending on class involvement.

North Lanarkshire Council Sports Development Department offer a wide ride of sporting events throughout the calendar year.

• Ability to be involved in future projects/events if applicable.
Experience required
• Hardworking – willing to work within a team that is there to host an event with a large amount of tasks throughout to be completed.
• Enthusiastic, out-going personal and motivated individual.
• Confidence to engage with participants of the event
• Interest in sport or physical activity

Support
Training details
• Induction given on the night of the event and thorough walk through of the venue/event space.
• Consistent support throughout the event from management, coaches, and other members of staff.
