Volunteer Stylists

Dress for Success Scotland aims to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing professional clothing, a network of support, and personal skills to help them thrive in work as well as life. We are in an exciting period of growth and need to increase our volunteers. Our boutique and office is based in Glasgow city centre.

With your support, Dress for Success Scotland can continue to empower women on their path to financial independence. Volunteering is a meaningful and rewarding experience that has many benefits, including the following:

• Learn and develop new skills
• Make connections
• Improve your CV
• Build your confidence

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in fashion and supporting women! Due to our expanding activities, we need additional volunteers for our boutique operations as personal stylists (full training given). The primary responsibility of a personal stylist is to prepare clients for interviews and employment by providing appropriate workplace clothing and accessories.

You'd be joining a great team of volunteers and staff who are committed to empowering women towards financial independence.

We're looking for at least a half-day-a-week commitment on our opening days of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

If you are interested, please click "Apply", and we'll be in touch to arrange a chat and a visit to the centre. If you have not heard back after 5 working days, the first step is to contact the organisation with the contact details provided. You could also check your junk/spam folder on your emails just in case the response is there. If that doesn’t work out then please feel free to contact Volunteer Glasgow on info@volunteerglasgow.org.
