Volunteer playworker within an out of school care setting. Monday – Thursday. Supporting children with play activities and providing assistance to Senior Practitioners with set up and tidy up of the environment.
Experience required
Supportive, friendly, Nurturing, able to work well as part of a team and be able to use own initiative.
Travel details
No public transport, Volunteer must have own transport
Support
Training details
Full induction will take place before starting, including Child Protection training and Infection Control. Opportunities for Formal and informal training sessions and regular support and supervision with senior staff.
Restrictions
Minimum age: 16
Availability
Frequency & commitment
Sessions run Mon-Thurs 2.30pm-5.45pm.
Volunteers (aged 16-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
