This is an excellent opportunity to build new skills while making a difference to others.
Youth Workers will be required to help young people during activities and outings within the group, assess the needs of the young people during the session, support young people to facilitate personal and social growth to encourage greater social inclusion, and attend training and development opportunities as provided by the group alongside team meetings when necessary.
Experience required
An interest in ADHD/Additional Support Needs is desirable however not a requirement.

If public transport is required to get to attend the group we will reimburse volunteers for this.

Training details
Training on ADHD - buddy system with established volunteer.

Will need to complete PVG disclosure upon starting
Availability
Frequency & commitment
We require volunteers for both our Tuesday evening group (5:00pm-7:00pm) and our Friday evening group (5:30pm-7:30pm). We would like volunteers to commit to one night weekly.
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
