Digital Drop-in Sessions

Women Only Organisation.

Gilded Lily Inspiring Enterprise is an organisation based in the south of Glasgow, in Govan. We aim to support and empower women in the community to become more confident, creative, employable and enterprising through drop-in sessions, programs, classes and community events. Through this volunteering opportunity, you will be helping women build their skills and confidence and contributing to the wider goal of Gilded Lily.

We are looking for volunteers interested in becoming digital mentors for our digital-drop-in classes. These classes will cover a variety of topics over 10 weeks, where you will be paired with another woman interested in learning some digital skills! You will be assisting women using different tech devices, helping them to build their IT skills. Each week we will be looking at a different topic to help develop a wide range of skills!

Volunteers will be supported by the development officer and program manager of the Women 4 Women program. They will be provided with GL guidelines, communication channels, and a dedicated person to guide them through the volunteering process.

These drop-ins will be running for 10 weeks, however, attendance at every session is NOT essential.

If you are interested please click the ‘Apply’ button below (available when logged in and registered). You will then be contacted by the coordinator by email or phone call. If you have not heard back after 5 working days, the first step is to contact the organisation with the contact details provided. You could also check your junk/spam folder on your emails just in case the response is there. If that doesn’t work out then please feel free to contact Volunteer Glasgow at info@volunteerglasgow.org

Once you have applied for this opportunity, you will be contacted by the development officer in charge of this opportunity via email. This may take up to 7 days.
