We are excited to inform you that The Salvation Army Trading Company has a new donation centre opening on the 09th May 2024.
For the donation to be a success, we require volunteers to cover our many roles such as till operator, shop floor assistant, eBay Lister, drivers mate, stock processor to name but a few.
Please feel free to drop in and speak to the team about the volunteer opportunities and get a feel for charity retail.
Experience required
No Expertise, Caring,Creative,Good Communicator,Patient,Practical,Reliable / Dependable,Sociable,Team Player,Trustworthy,No skills are required as training will be provided, but a knowledge of specific roles would be ideal such as social media/EBay, for the social media/eBay roles
Travel details
The opportunity takes place at multiple location across South Lanarkshire
Across South Lanarkshire,Blantyre,Cambuslang,East Kilbride,Glasgow,Hamilton,Rutherglen,Airdrie,North Lanarkshire
Travel expenses
Reasonable expenses will be provided and a minimum of 4hrs on a specific day preferably for travelling expenses

No Gender Restriction, No wheelchair accessible toilets in most of our shops/donation centres.

The trading hours are 9am to 5pm, so feel free to volunteer within these hours.
Volunteers (aged 14-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
