Possobilities is a charity run organisation supporting adults and young people with a disability. We provide social clubs and learning programmes in our community centre.
Our social clubs and learning programmes provide a safe and adapted social experience for our service users.
Our social clubs include various activities such as arts and crafts, fitness and games.

Your volunteering role will include:

  • supporting and assisting our members during activities

  • encourage social interaction

  • supporting young people and adults with disabilities

  • assisting senior support worker

  • join team meetings

  • be involved with planning and delivering activities

  • following company guidelines

  • shadowing experienced support workers

  • engaging with service users

We are looking for caring, compassionate and approachable volunteers for this role. We need someone who will uphold our organisations values.
This opportunity allows you to make a positive impact on someone’s life , you will become part off their journey and witness progression and achievements made by our service users. All our volunteers at our social clubs volunteer for various reasons for example to gain experience for a college entry requirement, to explore career change or to give back to the community. Depending on your reasons for wanting to join our team will depend on your outcome . We use a person centred approach to ensure that your needs are being met.

Volunteering at our social club is definitely a beautiful and humbling experience and you will encounter memorable moments during your time with us.
