Bike Maintenance volunteers

Biosphere Bikes Community Bike Hub (BB) is a registered charity and non-profit social enterprise located in Girvan which is utilising local assets for the benefit of people, place and planet.
BB is not just about cycling and bikes, it is a Community Bike Hub that uses cycling as a tool to have a positive social impact benefitting Girvan and the wider South Ayrshire area. We repurpose bikes, saving them from landfill and provide accessible cycles for all at affordable prices.

Biosphere Bikes Shop & Community Hub is seeking dedicated and skilled Bike Maintenance Volunteers to join our team.
As a Bike Maintenance Volunteer in our small charity, you will play a crucial role in repairing, maintaining, and refurbishing bicycles that are donated to our organization. We have a strong work ethic and promote accessible cycling and wheeling for all to encourage sustainable transportation and healthy lifestyles.
Your expertise will directly support our mission to make cycling accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

If you have a few hours per week and would like to share your bike knowledge and skills for the benefit of others we would love to hear from you!

We welcome adults and young people into our charity who may have physical or learning disabilities so an ability to collaborate inclusively to support their unique abilities and contributions would be welcome.
