Secretary

Be part of a friendly, dynamic volunteer group and supportive Board. Use your skills to make a
difference to the charity and the families we support. Volunteering for Tweed Togs is worthwhile, fun and flexible.

The Secretary is important in ensuring that the charity is well managed, organised and competently run. The general role is one of over-seeing a number of important management processes to allow all trustees, members and volunteers to participate fully in the charity. Trustees meetings are held 4-5 times a year at agreed date, times and venues.

Min Hours Required:
Approx 6 hours/week during school term times.


Experience required

• Knowledge of the Tweed Togs' Constitution and OSCR requirements
• Communicate clearly, regularly and frequently with Trustees, Members and Volunteers
• Attend all committee meetings and AGMs. Recording minutes at all meetings and managing online and hard copies of all minutes, agendas etc
• Co-ordinating the regular Update Newsletter
• Updating Trustee, Member and Volunteer details and updating GMail mailing lists.

Travel details

Room 3, Peebles Business Hub, Old Church Rd, Peebles, Scottish Borders and remotely.
