Join Our Team and Make a Difference!
Are you passionate about helping others and eager to make a real impact in Arbroath? If so, why not become a vital part of our food bank team, where your efforts will directly support individuals and families in need.
We are looking for volunteers to help out at the Old and Abbey Foodbank. The foodbank is usually open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday between 2pm and 3pm, but our volunteers normally arrive early to ensure everything is ready and leave a little later to ensure everything is put away.
As a volunteer, you'll be welcoming clients to our food bank centre, checking eligibility, and preparing essential food parcels.
This is a great opportunity to make a difference in Arbroath.
The foodbank is located at the Arbroath Mission Centre (Old and Abbey Parish Church), West Abbey St, Arbroath DD11 1EQ
Experience required
You will need to be a good communicator and compassionate to our service users. You may need to navigate difficult conversations sensitively. You will need to be reliable and punctual to your role so that the foodbank can operate effectively.
