Organiser for community tea party

Are you organised and passionate about combatting loneliness and isolation in your community? If so, Re-engage needs your help to organise community tea parties.

Isolation and loneliness are on the rise, especially among older people in the community. Re-engage is looking for organised individuals to help with their tea parties. Could you coordinate and welcome guests and other volunteers to these events? The tea parties are held once a month for two hours, making it easy to fit around your availability and lifestyle.

You will help arrange a schedule for tea party hosts, communicate timings with the group, and are welcome to attend for some refreshments and a good chat (though this in not mandatory to the role) Typically, the tea parties are held on Sunday afternoons and hosted by other volunteers in their homes. It is the same local group you will volunteer with, allowing you to make real connections within your community.
