Group Event Volunteer

Being a parent isn't easy, it can be lonely, frustrating, heart breaking and overwhelming. All parents struggle from time to time. At Home Start, we recognise this and work to support parents not just to survive but thrive!

Event volunteers help run activities and support families at our fun days, outings, parties and fundraising events, which are held in various locations throughout Falkirk. Our events can be about raising awareness about the work that we do, fundraising to support Home Start, or about getting parents and families involved. Volunteers will assist the Group workers and Home Start staff to run a range of these fun, educational and family friendly activities. This is an exciting rewarding position which requires energy, commitment, reliability, kindness, creativity and most importantly a sense of fun.
