Stall Coordinator

Fife Pride is dedicated to celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and promoting inclusion, diversity, and equality. Each year, they host a vibrant Pride event that brings together individuals, families, and allies to support and celebrate LGBTQ+ identities. The organisation is run entirely by passionate volunteers who work together to create a welcoming and safe space for all.

Fife Pride require a Stall Coordinator manages the organisation of vendor and community stalls at the Fife Pride event. They will be the main point of contact for stallholders and ensure that all logistics are in place for a successful event day.

They will;


-Manage booking and communication with the stall provider.
-Manage bookings and communications with stallholders.
-Allocate stall spaces and ensure the smooth setup and takedown of stalls.
-Work with the Logistical Manager to ensure a safe and accessible layout.
-Be the point of contact for stallholders on the day of the event.


Experience required

-Excellent organisational and communication skills.
-Experience in event coordination or working with vendors is beneficial.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
-Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Travel details

Meetings mostly held monthly on-line on a Monday at 5.30pm, however this is flexible. From April up until the event in July meetings are held either weekly or bi-weekly. Occasional meetings take place at ‘The Hive’, Kirkcaldy which is accessible by public transport. Tasks can be undertaken at home.

The Pride event takes place at Kirkcaldy Town Square

Travel expenses

Travel expenses will be reimbursed at either public transport rates on receipt of a valid bus ticket or at 45p per mile.

Support
Training details

An overview of the role and responsibilities will be provided as part of an induction and initial support will be provided by the previous Stall Coordinator. Ongoing support will be provided by the trustees, and the committee. The volunteer will also be part of a WhatsApp group.
