Our Youth Groups provide mentoring support for young people who are affected by another's substance use or are at risk of offending to reach positive destinations.
As a group Co-Facilitator your primary responsibilities would include:
- Session Planning: · Assist with the preperation and organisation of youth group sessions · Help insure that the activities are relevant, engaging and appropriate for the young people involved.
- Supporting Facilitation: · Provide hands – on support during the delivery of group activities, ensuring the smooth running of each session · Co – Facilitate alongside other volunteers and staff members, ensuring active participation from all attendees.
- Engaging Young People: · Work to encourage participation, build relationships with the young people and create a positive environment where everyone feels included. · Support the young people as they engage in activities, ensuring that their voices are heard, and they are motivated to take part.
Experience required
Non-judgemental, reliable, ability to work as part of a team, empathetic attitude, flexible, sense of humour, honest, understanding of and commitment to confidentiality and to the work of TCA, understanding of child protection issues.

We also provide continuous development opportunities along with monthly support and supervision throughout your volunteering journey.
