*Location: North East Scotland
*About Us:
North East Rider Volunteers Scotland is dedicated to helping the NHS and other Charities with moving items throughout the Grampian and Moray areas. We rely on the generous support of donors and volunteers to help us achieve our goals, and we are looking for a motivated Fundraising Manager to lead our fundraising initiatives and drive our mission forward.


*Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to meet our income goals.

  • Find, cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential donors, new corporate sponsors and the local community ensuring they feel valued and informed.

  • Collaborate with other NERVS Volunteers and Board members to promote our mission through various channels, including social media, newsletters, and press releases.

  • Monitor and evaluate fundraising performance, providing regular reports and insights to the Board and stakeholders.

  • Stay informed about trends in fundraising and recommend new opportunities for growth.

  • Apply for grants from established funds on the internet.

This is a Board and Trustee position within our Organisation and as such the successful candidate will be required to join as a volunteer and be subject to a basic Volunteer Scotland Disclosure Check.

Travel expenses

Mileage is paid for volunteers own vehicles if no Charity vehicle available.

Support
Training details

Excellent support and relevant training is provided to all volunteers.

Volunteers undergo an on boarding process and undertake a basic Disclosure Scotland check., controller training and take Board duty shifts

An induction to the Charity will be given and any relevant training as well.


Restrictions

Minimum age: 25

Frequency & commitment
Flexible-there are a range of times available to volunteer and all help is greatly appreciated.

Volunteers (aged 25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
