Special Constable Volunteers - Lanarkshire areas

The Special Constable role is a part-time voluntary opportunity with a long and impressive history, where members of the public can maximise their spare time and support their communities. Not only will you support the vision of Police Scotland for safer communities, less crime, and supporting victims. You will be joining a thriving workforce which may offer opportunities for a new career.

As a Special Constable, you will be given identical powers to that of a police officer, whom you will work alongside and at times that best suit you. If you are interested in volunteering up to 96 hours per year, learning skills, forging strong partnerships, preventing crime, and making a real difference in the community you love. Then this is the role for you.

If you are over 18 years old, physically fit, and have lived in the United Kingdom for a minimum of three years at the point of application. You could already have the skills we need.
