Foodbank Volunteers Needed

Glasgow South West Foodbank is a Community project to ensure no one goes hungry. Our work is made possible by the generous giving of time by our Volunteers.

At each Foodbank, we need help sort the donations and stock that comes in. We also need help packing the bags for people who benefit from the Service.

Our Linthouse Foodbank is a very busy hub. In 2024, it give out nearly 1000 Food Parcels. As such, we're in need of help ensuring there's a smooth service each week.

We're happy to work with people from a variety of backgrounds and hope to make it a warm welcoming environment for everyone.

The Linthouse Foodbank runs between 14:00 and 16:00 every Tuesday, with volunteers arriving from 13:00 to prepare the session.
