Head of Social Media & Communications

Knightswood FC are a local football community club within the West End of Glasgow, who provide a platform for young children, youths and adults. The club has grown over the past couple of years and we have provided many opportunities to players, coaches and supporters.

Last year we took the club to next level and joined the West of Scotland Football League and it was then our club became Semi Professional, allowing players to progress through our player pathway.

As we continue to grow so does our followers and we are now focusing on promoting the club through all social media platforms.
If you are a dynamic, creative person who is looking for experience in Marketing and Social Media then please get in touch.

The role would be to shape our social media platforms, i.e. Facebook, Instagram, twitter, and club website.

This role will also involve growing the clubs media strategy, player profiles, club updates, producing original content, including match reports, player interviews, behind-the-scenes videos, and promotional material.
Produce monthly newsletters, bring new innovative ideas to promote the club and increase community engagement.

Monitoring and analyzing the performance of media content to understand what resonates with supporters and improve future strategies

We are a forward thinking football club and you would be fully supported within the role. If you would like further information then please get in touch.
