We are seeking Walk Leaders to lead a weekly health walk from Wester Hailes. The group is well established with several regular attendees. Walks last up to 2 hours on a Thursday from 10.30am-12.30pm starting at The Health Agency at the Wester Hailes Healthy Living Centre. Duties include keeping a register of attendees and ensuring the safety of walkers. We will arrange for you to complete a half day Paths For All Walk Leader training, shadow the group and obtain your PVG check.

Travel details

The walk begins at The Health Agency within the Wester Hailes Healthy Living Centre at 30 Harvesters Way. Several Lothian Region Transport buses stop nearby including the 30, 3, 33 and 400.

Travel expenses

Reasonable travel expenses can be reimbursed after providing receipts and completing an expenses form.

Training details

Initially you will be able to shadow another trained Walk Leader and we will put you through the Paths For All Walk Leader Training as soon as possible. We will arrange for your PVG check to be completed.
