Help Royal Voluntary Service in Fife raise awareness of the vital work we do, and the difference our services make to older people, their families and communities across Fife. You can help by taking photos and videos of our community services in action, and/or you can help update the Facebook page and our stories, working towards building an online community, boosting engagement, encouraging and responding to messages, comments or questions. This is an exciting and flexible role that can fit in with your availability. You'll get all relevant training for your role, all travel expenses are reimbursed, and you will be welcomed and supported by a friendly, local team.
Experience required
A friendly personality, confidence with using Facebook and good communication skills are necessary. You must be reliable, have the ability to maintain confidentiality, and be able to volunteer independently (with support from local staff)

Travel expenses
Yes, they reimburse all travel expenses whether using public transport or your own vehicle, and expenses can be claimed and paid on a weekly or monthly basis according to your preference.
Support
Training details
Volunteers will take part in an induction programme before being given access to our local Facebook page. You will also benefit from ongoing support and supervision, as well as additional training opportunities to increase your skills and confidence.
Restrictions
Minimum age: 16
Availability
Volunteers (aged 16-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
