Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of women recovering from trauma and abuse? HSTAR Scotland SCIO is seeking a Strategic Liaison and Compliance Trustee to play a pivotal role in our mission to empower women and support local communities.
In this role, you will provide critical expertise in stakeholder engagement, procurement, compliance, and service agreement development. Your leadership, strategic thinking, and community connections will help us build strong partnerships with local authorities such as Stirling and Clackmannanshire Councils, high schools, Stirling University, and other referral organisations.
This position is perfect for someone with a background in the third sector, a procurement-focused mindset, and an unwavering dedication to sustainable charity models. We’re looking for someone who not only understands ethical, trauma-informed practices but also sees the value of balancing grants with financially healthy agreements that secure the future of our organisation.
?? Time Commitment:
•3-4 hours monthly for routine Trustee work.
•An additional 60-90 minutes monthly during the first three months for onboarding, trustee training and action planning.
?? Your Key Contributions Include:
•Building and managing meaningful collaborations with stakeholders and referring authorities.
•Leading procurement and developing service-level agreements for counselling services.
•Supporting governance, compliance, and ethical practice frameworks.
•Contributing innovative ideas to ensure the financial sustainability of HSTAR Scotland SCIO.
Experience required
