Community Central Halls
- VO102486
The Community Transport Scheme is designed to meet the transportation needs of Maryhill and the surrounding communities.
Our goal is to offer an affordable and reliable transportation service to the community. We provide a pick-up service on behalf of Safe-til-Six Afterschool Care, transporting primary school children from local schools who attend the after-school program.
In addition, we assist with various other services, such as providing transportation for local community groups on day trips.
The duties are as followed: (Training will be provided)
· Work to scheduled pick up list as directed by Transport Services Team Leader.
· Perform safety check on the minibuses each time before operation and refuel the vehicle as needed.
· Assist passengers in getting on and off buses and work with the designated escorts.
· Drive the minibus in a safe manner following traffic regulations.
· Follow policy guidelines should an accident occur.
· Complete all relevant paperwork and make sure it is returned to the appropriate person.
· Carry out general maintenance i.e. (oil, bulbs, water checks etc.)
· Be available for any training relevant to the post.
· You will require to be checked under the PVG scheme to comply with regulatory bodies such as Care Inspectorate.
