Volunteer PAT Tester

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) Volunteer - no experience necessary as full training will be given. This is a fantastic opportunity to play your part in keeping small electrical items out of land fill, learn how to test whether these are items are in good working order and safe to use. We can then pass them on to the people who use our services and help them to settle in their new home or replace essential electrical they cannot afford to buy new.

Training details

Initial training in how to use PAT testing machine, what to look out for, principle of appliance testing, electrical inputs and Volunteer General Induction prior to starting.
