Community Cafe Assistant

Volunteers are required in our Community Cafe. Cooking, serving, cleaning, chatting to customers and working the till.

We are looking for some outgoing and friendly people to join our "family" to help volunteer within our community café. Some of the jobs we are looking for people to do are cooking, serving, working the till, making coffees, cleaning down the café, working alongside college and university students on placement, everyone working and learning together.
We want to create a friendly atmosphere for anyone who comes into the café to sit in and have a coffee a bite to eat and a chat, leaving feeling like they have had a great experience. In this environment you will be working as part of a team, someone will be cooking and someone will be taking orders, serving, making coffees, cleaning up the tables all working together to achieve the best result.

If you are interested please click the ‘Apply’ button below (available when logged in and registered). You will then be contacted by the coordinator by email or phone call. If you have not heard back after 5 working days, the first step is to contact the organisation with the contact details provided. You could also check your junk/spam folder on your emails just in case the response is there. If that doesn’t work out then please feel free to contact Volunteer Glasgow at info@volunteerglasgow.org
