The volunteer will organise a weekly coffee afternoon within our communal lounge. Also helping with the
organisation of further social activities monthly. Setting up the lounge area and assisting with food and
refreshments and socialising with our residents. We are looking for Volunteers to support our customers in
staying connected and to be less socially isolated.
Organising a coffee morning in liaison with residents, staff, and potentially other volunteers
Preparing communal areas for group activities
Assisting with serving refreshments
Socialising with our residents
Clear away after activity
Experience required
No qualifications are necessary. We are looking for volunteers who are interested in working with older
people, have good communication and listening skills, are reliable and willing to work as part of a team.
Travel details
The opportunity takes place in Bishopbriggs. There is a train station and buses nearby

public transport costs paid monthly
Restrictions
Minimum age: 18
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
