Volunteer Community Connector

Are you interested in raising awareness of stroke in your community ?
As a Community Connector, you will be making links with your local community to raise awareness of stroke, the Stroke Association’s information resources and prevention messages.
By speaking to people in your community, you can help people understand the effects of stroke on lives, help to improve the experience of those affected by stroke and provide our prevention information.
A Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check is required for this role.

Experience required

• Passionate about helping people learn more about stroke.
• Able to get out and about.
• Comfortable using technology like Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
• Enjoy interacting with people.
You are welcome to apply if you have had a stroke or in a caring role, as this experience is invaluable for this role.

Must be able to travel independently.
Travel expenses will be re-imbursed.
