Join the Board of Govanhill Baths

Application deadline: Monday 19 May at 9am.
Information session: Tuesday 13 may, 6.00pm to 8.00pm, at The Deep End, 21 Nithsdale Street, GLASGOW G41 2PZ

Govanhill Baths is at a crucial stage in its journey toward reopening, and we are looking for dedicated individuals to join our Boards and help bring this vision to life.

In 2023, we reached a significant milestone with the £8.2 million completion of the first phase of refurbishment. This stage successfully preserved the building’s historic fabric, including the full conservation of the roof, stone walls, and windows. Extensive structural repairs have been carried out, ensuring the Baths are ready for the next phase of development.

The Govanhill Baths Community Trust Management Board meets monthly on the first Tuesday of the month from 6:30 - 8:30pm.
The Govanhill Baths Building Preservation Trust meets less frequently.

This is a rare opportunity to be part of a transformative community project. If you are passionate about historic preservation, community activism, and making a lasting impact, we encourage you to apply.

If you are interested in applying, please click ‘Apply’ at the bottom of this form, below (available if registered and logged in). We will reply to your email within 5 working days when we will arrange to meet you for an informal chat. If you have not heard from us within this time, please contact Volunteer Glasgow.
