Centre for Inclusive Living Perth & Kinross (CILPK) is a leading disability charity operating across the Perth & Kinross region

At Centre for Inclusive Living Perth and Kinross (CILPK), we work with local services and organisations to improve access, enhance experiences, and help people with disabilities to live independently with the support they need.

We look to promote Independent Living in a wide range of ways, including:

Equality Issues/Advocacy
We deal with individual and group issues reported to us to help promote equality across all areas. We also help support individuals with any issues they have to ensure their voices are heard.

Self-Directed Support
We provide information to people wanting to know about self-directed support and help to people who have issues or questions regarding their care.

Community Access
We work with public, private and voluntary sector organisations to advise them on the best ways to make their businesses accessible to all. We provide audits and surveys of premises and work with the local authority to make sure new plans are accessible for all.

What will you be doing?
CILPK are in the process of recruiting new Trustees to join the board which currently includes 4 other people including a Chairperson and a Treasurer.

What does the role entail?
We would love to have an informal chat about it, but in general the role of Trustee will consist of working closely with the Chairs and Treasurer, you will be responsible for:
