Southern Sound is looking for someone with experience of Radio Operations to join their growing team.

We are finding that more members are starting to use the studios, and we need someone who has practical experience of booting systems, using mixing desks, setting up studios and general broadcasting trouble shooting.

We have huge plans, and need to grow our resources with some experienced hands. Many of our newer members are still climbing the learning curve and some experienced crew are needed to steady the boat.

This is a voluntary opportunity that would ideally suit someone who is semiretired, or has time on there hands and wanting to contribute to the local community.

If you have one hr a week to spare or 37 hrs, it doesn't matter. We are looking someone with motivation who can help our station remotely and on site when required (even today, you sometimes need to press a "button" in person).
