We're looking for young people (aged 14-20) to volunteer with our youth led community event project this Summer. It's the perfect chance to learn valuable, transferable skills in a relaxed & fun environment - and get a Saltire Award as recognition!
Our Community Event Volunteers work together to organise, promote, and host an event at our beautiful community garden in Dalkeith Country Park.
Last year the theme was a teddy bears picnic with pop café and fun zones for kids as well as a treasure hunt, you will be helping to plan the event and run it on the day, its a great way to connect the local community and be part of something fun. All training is provided and you will be supported by our friendly coordinator.
