Duns Fair Share

Our Quartermaster volunteers collect food from local drop off points in Duns (Coop and Duns Parish Church.) They check suitability and sell buy dates and ensure the shelves are organised tidily for the delivery team.
Requirements and Skills:
• Physical fitness: Ability to carry food donations and stack shelves is required.
• Own car & full driver’s licence is useful but not essential if you are able to walk, carrying shopping from Duns Coop to Murray St, Duns.
• The role is based on a week’s shift, every six to eight weeks.
Volunteers (aged 12-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
