Volunteer Opportunity: Social Media Support for Hapi Hawick.
Help us grow our online presence and share the good we do!

Hapi Hawick (The Hawick Acorn Project Initiative) is a registered charity based in the Scottish Borders. Since 2014, they’ve been creating a safe, structured, and friendly environment where people from all walks of life, including those with learning disabilities, mental health challenges, older adults, and individuals facing financial hardship, can build confidence, learn new skills, and contribute meaningfully to their community.

They run a variety of hands on projects, including bike recycling, peer support, and work experience placements for students and service users. Volunteers play a vital role in everything they do and now, they’re looking to expand their digital reach.

Social Media Volunteer Role
What you’ll do:
Help build and manage Hapi Hawick’s Instagram/Facebook account and potentially other platforms (e.g., Twitter/X, TikTok).
Create engaging posts, stories, and updates that reflect the heart of the project.
Collaborate with the team to highlight events, volunteer stories, and community impact.

This would suit:
Someone with a creative spark and basic social media skills.
A few hours a week to dedicate to content creation and account management.
Passion for community wellbeing and inclusive support.

What you’ll gain:
A chance to shape the voice of a growing local initiative.
The satisfaction of helping Hapi Hawick connect with more people and share their story.
