Working in teams of two, our delivery team volunteers assemble food deliveries (typically one to three shopping bags depending on size of recipient’s family) and deliver these essential food supplies to our clients. Deliveries are usually in or within 10 miles of Duns but can occasionally be further afield. The role is based on a week’s shift, every six to eight weeks.

Requirements and Skills:
• Own car & full driver’s licence is essential
• Physical fitness: Ability to fill and carry shopping bags is required.
• Commitment and reliability: Volunteers need to be dependable and committed to their assigned shifts.
• Good communication skills: Effective communication is important for interacting with recipients and other team members.
• Organised and efficient: Volunteers need to be able to manage their time effectively and follow simple procedures.
