Slamannan Action Group

Slamannan Action Group Kids Club is for children in the Slamannan and Limerigg areas where a safe, warm space is provided and a free lunch and activities are offered. The Kids Lunch Club only operates during the school holidays.
Slamannan Action Group are currently looking to recruit new volunteers to join the team and help at the Kids Lunch Club sessions throughout the holidays. The number of days can vary with the sessions running from 11am -2.30pm.
Volunteers would be asked to help with tasks such as:
- set up tables and chairs
- help with serving refreshments and food
- assist with managing the activities
- help to tidy the hall area and put away tables and chairs at the end of the session.
Experience required
A variety of different skills sets would be nice to compliment those already existing within the group.
Good communication kills.
Travel details
Slamannan Bowling Club, Station Road, Slamannan, FK1 3BQ.
Travel expenses
47p per mile. Reimbursed monthly.
Support
Training details
Volunteers will be offered First Aid and Food Hygiene training.
Volunteers will be given an induction to cover risk assessments, roles and responsibilities and policies.

Minimum age: 16
PVG check required for this role.

Frequency & commitment
3hours per week during school holidays only. Days and times to be confirmed.
Volunteers (aged 16-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
