Community Volunteer

RNID are looking for Community Volunteers to get involved in multiple locations within their local area on a flexible, ad-hoc basis. As a community volunteer, you will:

  • Deliver presentations and talks to share information with local groups and organisations, either in-person or held remotely online. These raise awareness of deafness, hearing loss and tinnitus and the services and support available. You will provide information on RNID, their activities, and how people can support them.

  • Perform hearing checks, visiting groups in your community to help people take the RNID online hearing check. Supporting someone to take the online hearing check usually takes 10-15 minutes and will suggest if the person’s hearing is in normal range, or they may have hearing loss.

If you would like to get involved with a flexible opportunity and make a difference to people in your local area, register your interest today.
