Community Garden Helper

Duloch Community Garden runs a community garden in Duloch Park with flowers, vegetables and a fairy garden. Run entirely by volunteers, the group maintains an area of the park and provides a social space for people to get into nature and learn about gardening. Alongside other local groups, they have a shipping container hub that volunteers can use.
They are looking for Community Garden Volunteers. As a volunteer, you can get involved in tasks such as planting seeds, plants and bulbs; turning over compost; spreading bark; watering; weeding; strimming and mowing; pruning; sweeping; and other activities within the garden. You can also help to clean equipment after use and keep the hub clean.
If you would like to get outdoors, connect with others, and improve your gardening skills, while volunteering in a flexible role, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
