Dundee Dragons run adaptive cycling sessions at three locations in Dundee for children and adults. You don’t need to be a cycling coach, although that is useful. We are simply looking for people who are passionate about helping others. This could be as simple as setting out the adaptive bikes, accompanying the ride leaders or making teas and coffees for the riders.
Of course if you wanted to get involved in being a ride leader at any level we can also make that happen. We can offer support to obtain sport specific qualifications as well as support to attend workshops on disability inclusion, first aid and child welfare and protection in sport.
Experience required
Everyone has to start somewhere so a positive attitude, an open mind, an interest in sport and a willingness to “get in amongst it” is vital.

Prospective volunteers, working alongside experienced coaches and club officials, can attend sessions to learn more about what the club does and understand how they might be able to fit into the programme. You don’t have to make any immediate commitment.
