Unit Leader/Assistant Leaders and Young Leaders

A creative, fun and inspiring role running units (groups) for:

Rainbows (aged 4-7), Brownies (aged 7-10), Guides (aged 10-14) and Rangers (14-18).

We have units across the Brechin and Edzell, so there is flexibility for the individual in location. Meetings occur throughout school term time.


Key activities include:
• Working as a team/leading a team
• Organising age-appropriate activities
• Managing records
• Managing the units' accounts


There are all sorts of roles to suit different availabilities, time commitments and skill sets :

Volunteers will develop teamwork and leadership skills, enhance their organisational abilities, and have the opportunity to make new friends while gaining valuable experiences and skills.


Volunteers are asked to commit a few hours each week during school term time. Units typically meet on various days, usually in the evening, providing flexibility for participants.


Experience required

Organisation, team working, creative, fun and inspiring. We are open to anyone who has their own expertise they can bring to the role, such as arts, outdoors

Support
Training details

Full training, including safeguarding, first aid and age-appropriate training to the Girlguiding programme.
